Santini has a reputation as the brand many of the pros wear. The BCOOL Bib Shorts won't disappoint, as they keep you cool when you go after that PR on your local climb. The majority of the paneling on the shorts is sewn from a blend Santini calls Lycra Newport. This fabric is a combination of stretch and compression that reduces fatigue caused by muscle oscillation. The side panels have the added benefit of carbon particles woven into the knit. These particles not only keep UV rays at bay, they also minimize odors. Holding the bibs in place on the top are mesh straps that keep you cool by allowing air between the fabric and your skin. On the bottom are anti-slip Lycra leg bands. To keep you comfortable as you grind uphill, Santini incorporates the MIG3 chamois into the BCOOL bibs. This insert is the lightest in the gel insert line and features ample padding for your sit bones. The microfiber cover is also antimicrobial and wicking to keep you cool and dry.
